High Quality : Good quality LFDC is white, there are no yellow spots, black and other discoloration. Good quality LFDC has a sweet coconut aroma, is free from rancidity and is uniform in size.
Manganese Content: One ounce (28.3495 grams) of LFDC contains 0.778 mg of manganese. This amount fulfills almost 38% of the daily manganese requirement recommended by the Indonesian Ministry of Health. Manganese plays a role in energy metabolism and is required for the synthesis of blood clotting proteins, bone tissue, hormones and enzymes. Manganese also increases calcium absorption and helps regulate your blood sugar levels.
Fiber Content: One ounce (28.3495 grams) of LFDC contains 5 grams of fiber, equivalent to 17% of the daily fiber requirement. A high intake of dietary fiber from foods such as coconut can help prevent stroke, high blood pressure, heart disease, obesity, high blood cholesterol, diabetes and digestive disorders such as hemorrhoids, constipation, and colon cancer.
Copper Content : One ounce (28.3495 grams) of LFDC contains 226 mcg of copper or equivalent to 28.25% of daily copper requirement. The human body doesn't need a lot of copper, however it plays an important role in the production of collagen and red blood cells and in the absorption of iron. Copper also aids in energy metabolism and acts as an antioxidant. Adequate intake of copper can help you avoid osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, and arthritis.
Selenium content: One ounce (28.3495 grams) of LFDC contains 5.2 mcg of selenium, equivalent to 17.3% of daily selenium requirements. The body uses the mineral selenium to produce enzymes that support thyroid function and the immune system, preventing DNA and tissue damage from free radicals. A diet rich in selenium foods can help lower the risk of cancer, infections, heart disease, and rheumatoid arthritis. In addition, it can also prevent infertility in men
